The GYSO string orchestra presents a program of virtuosic romantic repertoire. The focal point of this concert is Strauss's Metamorphosen composed for 23 solo players during the closing months of the Second World War. This program will explore life, death, and rebirth and highlight some of the most talented young string players in the country.
